GPRS settings for CrewSim

How to configure GPRS settings for CrewSim.

To be able to use GPRS you need to configure your phone. The following text contains the procedures to change the parameters that will allow you to use this service. The examples shown here refer to some models of SonyEricsson, Nokia and iPhone. If you have a different brand and need assistance please send us an inquiry from the CrewSIM information page or at ccare@mcp.com including your e-mail address and your CrewSIM number

NOTE!
Depending on the settings, Smartphones can send and receive large amounts of data without notifying the user and all data sent/received will be charged!

Change of CEO in Maritime Communications Partner (MCP)
As recently announced by Telenor, Pål Bjørdal has been appointed as new CEO of the Telenor’s subsidiary AeroMobile from September 1.

Current MCP Director of Strategy, Alf S. Aanonsen, will take on the position as acting CEO of MCP as from the same date, ensuring business continuity while the position is posted.

Aanonsen has extensive operational management experience within MCP, which he joined since the start in 2002. He worked 13 years for Ericsson before joining MCP, within product-, project- and sales management.
Aanonsen holds an MSc degree within Computer Science from the Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTH), a Master of Management from the BI Norwegian School of Management, and a Bachelor degree within Economics also from BI.
