The global wireless network CellAtSea™ is the brand name of MCP’s digital maritime wireless services, and provides voice, messaging, MMS, GPRS and Blackberry services. CellAtSea™ enables the passengers and crew to access onboard information, entertainment services and wireless connectivity.

The service is conveniently billed by the user’s home carrier. In addition, the coverage can be restricted from certain areas such as theatres, dining rooms, chapel, etc as required.

MCP offers the possibility to stay connected to the world when travelling at sea.

MCP ANNOUNCE A NEW LONG TERM AGREEMENT FOR 5 NORTH AFRICAN FERRIES

Arendal, March 24, 2010. Maritime Communications Partner announce a new long term agreement for the operation of its sophisticated GSM system and services.The agreement covers 3 ferries belonging to the Algerian Ferry operator L’Enterprise Nationale deTransport Maritime de Voyageurs ’ENTMV’ and 2 ferries belonging to the Tunisian Ferry operator La Compagnie Tunisiene De Navigation ’CTN’. Both companies are operating routes between North Africa and Southern Europe. The 5 vessels will be set in operation in Q2 2010.
